Welcome to the Gold Speculator, your online educational source for investing in precious metals, mining companies and commodities. Our idea is to have an open community of gold investors sharing their experience and education. We believe in the power of knowledge and learning from each other.

Investing in precious metals could be very difficult for newcomers. There are not many textbooks or guides on this subject. Also, an average investor does not have a Geology degree, which makes it a lot more difficult to research mining companies. We put a lot of effort into studying the industry and we are nowhere near to becoming experts. We believe there is a lot to learn from other investors and we would like to expand each others knowledge by sharing information and hopefully profiting from it.

The original idea behind Gold Speculator was to be an investment tool for us and with the re-launch we’d like it to be an investment tool for all commodities investors.

Official re-launch of Gold-Speculator.com took place on January 15th, 2008, well into the roaring gold bull market. As I’m writing this note, gold is making new highs, but we are convinced we are nowhere near the end and most juniors are still undervalued.
