Dow Industrials Closing Price
December 31, 1964: 874.1
December 31, 1981: 875.0


Dow Industrials Closing Price
December 31, 1981: 875
December 31, 2000: 10,788


Nasdaq Closing Price

December 31, 1998: 2,193
March 17, 2008: 2,177


S&P Closing Price

December 31, 1998: 1,229
December 31, 2008: 1,277


I'm willing to wager that it will be another 10 years before we can begin a bull market in general equities.
