Where have all the dollar bulls gone? The bear market rally is over for terminally ill Uncle Sam. While the 80 area should offer some support for awhile, it’s only a matter of time before we go back to the lows around 72. While it seems to some that a miracle healing doctor has arrived in Washington to breath new life in the poor uncle, I believe sophisticated foreign investors and governments like China realize the jig is up. Trust me, by the time the average American is aware, we’ll be at or below the lows.

I said the Canadian dollar was my favorite currency at $.80 and was going to parity. I believe Canada is one of the best places to park capital.

Speaking of Canada, I want to once again send out my deepest sympathy to all my Vancouver friends who once again must suffer the pain and anguish of having the only major Canadian city without a real hockey team. Knowing hockey is part of one’s life for Canadians, I can only imagine how it must feel for Canucks fans to always see their team on the golf course come May versus the ice. Hey, maybe we can get a Canucks-Devils tournament going? Devil fans can bring pictures and videos of our 3 Stanley Cups to give poor Canuck fans a taste of what yet again their team failed to obtain for them.
